Why we built Agesic
Every agent needs access to models, and every model call costs money. Today that usually means one shared provider key, one credit card and a bill that only arrives after the fact. One retry loop or one runaway context can cost more in a night than a team planned for the month.
We think agents should be treated like employees with a company card: each one gets its own account, its own limits and a clear record of what it spent. That's what Agesic is.

Principles
How we build
Limits before spending
Every call is checked against the agent's caps before it reaches a model provider. A refused call costs nothing.
Compatible by default
Agesic speaks the OpenAI API. Change two lines in the SDK you already use, and keep your code, your prompts and your tools.
Nothing hidden
You pay the provider's price plus a flat 5% fee. Every call is logged with its tokens, cost and latency, and can be exported.
Safe with real money
Keys are stored only as hashes, balances are checked atomically, and top-ups are verified onchain before they're credited.
